South Africa’s food production and agro-processing capabilities are on show this week at the Made in Africa exhibition running alongside the 20th US-Sub-Saharan Africa Trade and Economic Cooperation Forum (AGOA Forum) at the Johannesburg Expo Centre at Nasrec.
The AGRIFARM lubricant range for agricultural machines, which must deliver top performance daily, will be showcased by FUCHS LUBRICANTS SOUTH AFRICA at Grain SA’s NAMPO Harvest Day 2023.
Nampo Cape 2022, one of Africa’s most impressive agricultural exhibitions in the southern hemisphere, takes place in Bredasdorp Park in the Cape from 14 to 17 September 2022, against a backdrop of renewed confidence alongside significant innovation and solid growth.
It is with great excitement and a sense of relief that Grain SA’s took notice of President Cyril Ramaphosa’s address last week announcing the adjusted Level 1 regulations, which came into effect and allowing the 2022 NAMPO Harvest Day to be hosted from 16-20 May 2022 at 50% of NAMPO Park’s capacity.
We have written before about the valuable place occupied by agricultural shows and events. Work on our first agricultural publication was confirmed after attending South Africa’s Nampo Harvest Day in 2003 (see our account on that here), and as the years passed, we anticipated this and similar events with enthusiasm as a place to meet up with old friends and to keep our fingers on the pulse.
This first virtual agriculture show and conference opened successfully in Pretoria, South Africa on Wednesday 9 September. The event is open until and including Saturday 12 September.
